From May to the end of August daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
September and October daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
(We are also open on Sundays and Bank Holidays)
The last entry is always 30 Minutes before Closing.

Entry is along the Rheinpromenade.
The protected building and surrounding area are not disabled persons friendly and not for free movement for handicapped people. Entrance to the grounds and Museum is possible over a steep Ramp or Stairway,
The entrance to the museum is only possible via a stairway and the towers and several floors are only reachable via stairs.
Arrival per Car or Bus:
At best over the B9, exit Remagen Süd, Joseph-Rovan-Allee, Giethestraße. A direct Route to the Rheinpromenade and the parking area there, is not permitted (except for two handicapped parking spaces).
Parking for cars is available next to the Rheinhalle, where Goethestraße and An der Alten Rheinbrücke Meet, or next to he Cemetery on the opposite side.
There is one Bus-parkinglot next to Rheinhalle. You find more space next to the swimming bath (direction Kripp).

Further for pedestrians over „An der Alten Rheinbrücke“ And Rheinpromenade, about 300 yards, to the museum.
Remagen station is about 1 Mile from the Friedens Museum. Pedestrians (over the Rhein Promenade) need about 20 mins, with the bicycle About 5 minutes.

You can ride to the end of the site.There are bicycle stands behind the towers. Please remember we are not responsible for any loss or stealth of valuable articles that may go astray. During your visit think about your own and the safety of others. Don’t park your Bicycle on the path and bicycle road.
